John Lusis is an Artist and Photographer based in Milwaukee, WI. His work explores the human impact on the American Landscape. Portraying landscapes that are often apathetically driven through; his work forces the viewer to reconcile with spaces left behind and overlooked. More recently John has been exploring the Milwaukee landscape and personal studies into his own relationship with photographs.
John Lusis received his BFA in photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and design in 2009. His work has been shown at venues such as the Portrait Society Milwaukee, MIAD Perspectives Gallery, New Landscape Photography Gallery, The Goodman Gallery, and can be found in the permanent collection of the Racine Art Museum.
