John Lusis (b. 1987, Madison, WI) is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He received his BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2009 and a MFA in photography from Columbia college Chicago in 2016. John’s practice focuses on how humans interface with buildings psychologically and economically. His most recent work deals with the effects obsolescence has on structures which creates simultaneous destruction and growth. His work has been shown nationally, internationally, and online as well as held in private and public collections in the United states.
